05' GSXR 1000 Dyno'd at 165hp, I think I need One.

R1 is about low 150's at the wheel and from the dynos I have seen the gixxer is consistently in to low 170's. Baddest street biver EVER built!

My pecker is getting hard. I think I am going to do it.

PBR,

I have heard from some r1 owners that their butt does get warm. I would look further into it. I would hate that. As far the rear pipe on the gsxr 1000. I saw it live in person and it looks cool. The picture doesn't do it justice. I am going to leave it stock. According to the first ride reports it also helps on the track.

What I am concerned about is switching from the 750 to 1000 and wheelieing it is going to be weird to get use to each bike then switching.

Just talked to a dealer in Ohio. Not sure what shipping to texas is going to cost but at only 365lbs it shouldn't be too much but I can get the bike for $9950. This bike is going to SCREAM!!! I am sooo stoked.

check out my site maximumvelocity.ca the gixxer 1000 and the busa are mine the busa makes 232rwhp on the motor 340 on nitrous i do all the work at my shop in Toronto the 1000 makes 220 on a little nitrous190 motor

2005 GSXR1000 - 148.8 rwhp (with possibility of 2hp error)

R1 - 151-155 rwhp

ZX10 - 154-156 rwhp

Where'd you get your numbers from Curling? Are you getting them from the manufacturer? Keep in mind, the manufacturer measures hp and tq at the CRANK, not the rear wheel.

That being said, Honda claimed that the 99F4 (which I own) made 110hp. Sure it does, at the crank. Dyno runs that many others have done in stock form put it in the low 90s. After a rejet and a pipe, they can see close to 100 if not slightly over.

Well for one this info came from page 3 of the thread you posted.

I went past my boys local shop yesterday with a couple of the local street riders there Dynoing their 05 Bikes..

05 GSXR1000 250 miles 160RWHP 81ft lbs Tq SAE corrected 93 oct pump gas

with MR9 it made 165RWHP and 82.71ftlbs of Tq.

05 Yam R1 1100miles made 158RWHP 74ft lbs of Tq SAE Corrected 93 oct Pump Gas.

04 ZX10 1200 miles made 157RWHP 78ftlbs of Tq SAE 93 oct pump Gas

Out on the road doing roll ons both riders weighing about 190lbs the GSXR CRUSH's the R1.. Next I'm gonna do some rollons with a bone stock ZX10 to compare the two.

I witnessed the Dyno #'s with my own eyes...

Norm

Crak,

What is mr9 some type of high performance racing gas or what?

Here was the report I saw

We are Sponsoring KWS Motorsports this year with Lee Acree and Blake Young on GSXR1000's and GSXR600's in AMA Superbike and Supersport, well we just received our GSXR1000's today. (A week before Daytona....)

Bikes 4 hours old, broke in on the Dyno. DynoJet 250i. VP 110.
165hp and 82ft of torque!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BONE STOCK!!!!!!

This is the most HP ever seen on the KWS Dyno by a stock motorcycle. Next highest was a 2004 Busa that made 162.....

All this talk about horse power means absolutely nothing without the ability to ride the bike to it's potential, which I would say 95% of the riders on the street do not posess. Sure you feel like a bad ass smokin some fool off the line or from a roll on, but you feel and look like a moron when some dude whips past you in the corner on a 600. I aint flamin anyone here, just seems to me that EVERYONE who rides gets caught up in the numbers....then some go out and buy a bike they can't handle, which causes a lot of problems for those who can handle their own bikes. I aint sayin I'm an awesome rider either, 'cause I can't ride the twisties worth shit, I'm more of the 3rd gear highway wheelie type, which also creates a lot of problems for riders.....so fuck it, buy whatever is fastest!!
