I've been doing hang snatches lately between workouts and my shoulders feel great for a change. I'll also do light squats and benches too with about 30% of 1RM. I use super strict form with those two movements.

It could be that you didn't warm your lower back up properly. You may want to warm up with some light good mornings or deadlifts in the future. And to reiterate what the others said, don't use the bands all the time.
Hmmm. He repeats his newsletters quite a bit. I'll look for the one where he tells you how to wash it. I believe he recommends that you wash it in cold water and then dry it in the dryer on the permanent press cycle to shrink it back down to the original size.
