How I shrunk an inch.....

nice work chris. They look pretty heavy.

On a side note, i think you should invest in some 100 lb plates.
and also, nice job on the matching attire

Impressive weight, IRBD! Make me think of something: Why is it that at a competition they always load the least amount of plates on the bar so that a big weight looks like nothing? I mean, doesn't the amount of plates on your bar just LOOK awesome compared to the measly 3 plates a side that would replace this at a comp?

Our sport is not very spectator-friendly as it is and most laymen don't know the difference between 350lb and 700lb anyways but they can definitely relate more to the visual impact of a bar loaded chock full of plates than to a few very heavy plates a side.

Keeping the weight closer to the lifter makes it easier to balance, as well as the fact that is a lot easier on the spotters and loaders, who get a first class ass-whupin' at big meets.

DAMN IT musta been a bitch to LOAD that bar and NOT even squat the weight,

J/m:D dude I can't hold that much on my back straight like that, I'd either have to use the pussy pad(manta ray) or i'd need someone else's knees' like freak19 or somebody Irish maybe.
