    COC Gripper PR

No offense intended toward BFS, but doing 2 sets of 8 won't do much of anything. When you're training for a single squat or bench, do you do 8 reps for those? For the last 3 months I can't remember doing anything other than singles with my coc's. There's no reason to rep grippers. They're...

how long to close a number four gripper

tuc, I think it totally depends on the person and the type of training you're willing to do. Look at the way Nathan Holle(second #4 closer) trains. If you focus this much time into grip training, chances are that your strongman shit will have to slow down. Training for the #4 is way too...

    Hip Pain/Flexibility

Romo's right. It may be sciatica pain migrating from your lower back. It may also just be a small hip problem. There's a world of difference between the two. Go to the doc and find out what it is man.

Its from years of thinking I was tougher than I really was. This procedure use to be much more serious warpath. Also, although there is damage to the vertebrae, the surgery deals primarily with the disc(no bone removal). So, its not too bad.

    Considering COC grippers

Brookfield's second book is great. It has a lot of obscure training ideas.

I would also like to know exactly this. But I fear that by this time tomorrow, this thread may be 14 pages long and filled with garbage.

    Considering COC grippers

StrongChE, I'm not saying your totally wrong, but Bossman said he was struggling with the last 2 mm. That would require the use of something much thinner than the average belt, unless you're doing a type of overcrush at that point. I have both of Brookfield's books btw, great stuff. b-fold, it...

    Considering COC grippers

Debaser, I've been on kta for a few weeks now. When I started it, I was closing the #3 pretty consistantly, but not confidently. A few days ago I took a couple days off and had a test day. I slammed the #3 like a trainer and held it static shut for a looong time. It was cake. The kta program...
