didnt expect all this! good conversation here. so would you guys think it would be ok to do chest maybe once a week going VERY light, lighter then a warm up set? the other day i did a couple sets with just the 25's(barbell) didnt hurt but could feel it. thanks for all the feedback guys!!!
no no, i always warm up. thats just my first set after my warm up. my chest didnt swell or bruise. just hurts pretty bad when i do chest. starts at the armpit. thanks for the reply!

i strained my left pec about 2-3 weeks ago, not too bad. still able to do close grip bench and incline. so the other day im doing chest, but just a light incline workout. i go up to 225(275is usually my first set for 10 reps) and do just 2 reps and my right side is now strained. WTF! i dad...
