    squatting deadlifting with belts

    I don't use a belt for deadlifting but for squats I've taken to using it when close to 3-5RM. Decided I'd rather be a live dog then a dead lion :p

    Burning out on the 5x5 Need help!

    Any thoughts on running WSB - since they rotate the ME squat every few weeks. But the Texas Method should be interesting, if I recall the Monday workout is the stimulus, Wednesday is just a filler to keep your CNS primed and Friday is test day. I plan to try this soon as well.

    Well you could always try to get a couple 5’s or 10’s and space them in front and in back of the plates so they don’t roll away. I’m reminded of one of those old IM vids where these guys were training in the Chinese gyms and since the squat racks weren’t adjustable they had to bring the height...

    So who's really hardcore...

    I plan on lifting x-mas day, we kinda celebrated today and only having a small dinner tomorrow. I also lifted last week when we lost power for 4 days - the garage had no heat, no music and no lights, except for outside with the garage door :chomp:
