I'd set up my brother and sister with a mil each. I'd help a few friends out too with low six-figure gifts. My mom and dad are already very well off, but I'd probably still buy my dad a top-of-the-line luxury car that he'd never splurge on for himself. Gift for my mom would be to take her on a trip (she won't fly) to any cities she wants to see and to visit relatives on her side of the family, with me driving (she is scared to drive in big cities).
I'd build my dream home. After that, I'd build a killer gym in my hometown: I'd operate it as a private club, so that only people I like could be members (doing that would offset some of the upkeep costs as opposed to just having it for myself). I'd locate and buy an ultra-low-mileage H1 Hummer to drive in the winter (w/ Nokian snow tires), and buy myself a new car(coupe worth 100k max)for the summer. I'd take two vacations each year until I'd seen the world, first class flights and five-star hotels all the way. I'd buy a pair of Montreal Canadiens season tickets for sure, and I'd travel to watch them play all road games during the playoffs. I'd go to the Superbowl and World Series every year too.
I would build a cardiac care clinic onto the local hospital in my dad's name (he's a doc who has worked his ass off there his whole career), and set up a fund that would perpetually pay for 10 underprivileged kids to play minor hockey. That'd be the extent of my charity, as I'm not looking to dent the principal of the megabucks winnings too deeply while I'm alive; goal is to have big fat interest payouts to live off of every year.
Smaller ticket items would be always having the best damn TV on the market (with the most deluxe DirecTV and cable packages you can get), getting a custom-built computer every 2 years featuring the best technology available at the time, splurging on clothes (dress, casual, and gymwear), ect.
