i got one question how the fuck can anyone believe in the concept of hell.... ok so u get 100 years (maybe depending on how long u live) to figure out something totally illogical and u have to believe in that one certain thing (christ) or u go to a place where u suffer for eternity... eternity being atleast billions of years because we know the universe has atleast been here that long... and how the fuck can u suffer every day for a billion years, i mean doesn't it get old even if u got the guys head from hellraiser shoved in your ass everyday i would think that wouldn't be so bad after a couple thousand years of it.... i mean surely there's no way people could make some bullshit like that up to scare the fuck out of everyone to make them act and believe a certain way right? ha

I don't think Jesus every claimed to be the son of God or believed he was. That was all invented by the people who wrote the new testimate. As mentioned here before, Christianity is a religion about Jesus - not the religion Jesus was teaching.

So.... I think you can believe in what Jesus was teaching without having to believe Jesus was the son of God or any thing else that goes along with the new testimate. Just because you don't believe the son of God issue does not mean you can't go to a Christian church and pick up some of the teachings of Jesus. He was a very enlightened dude and had some good stuff to say.

You could also go see Godspell. It does a better job getting the point across in a much more entertaining fashion.

That is the way I reconcile all this.
