Dostinex (Also known as Cabergoline / Cabaser) is a relatively new drug Dostinex was primarily invented for the purpose of lowering prolactin in patients with a pituitary tumors and other prolactin related conditions. Some of the conditions which Dostinex has been used successfully are:


Treatment of hyperprolactinemic disorders, pituitary adenomas (tumors) & prolactinomas
Dostinex restored testosterone levels and increases libido (sex drive)
Dostinex has been shown to be very useful in treating Parkinson’s Desease
Dostinex is successfully used to treat Restless Legs Syndrom (RLS)
Dostinex stops excessive lactation
Dostinex improves energy loss and fatigue
Dostinex (Cabergoline) in the treatment ofacromegaly

However it seems the potential of Dostinex goes far beyond the treatment of tumors. Dostinex increases dopamine, a brain chemical that is associated with feelings of pleasure and well being. Elevation of dopamine levels often leads to a marked increase in sex drive, improvement in mood, aleterness, learning ability and creativity. Off-label uses for these medications include sex drive enhancement and increased ejaculation volume, mood elevation, appetite suppression and fat loss.
Dostinex is also used by athletes and bodybuilders in order to lower prolactin levels resulting from drug and steroids use of Deca Durabolin (nandrolone) and Fina (trenbolone)


What is the difference between Dostinex and Cabaser ?

Both Cabaser and Dostinex contain the same active ingredient Cabergoline. However, Cabaser contains 1mg per tab while Dostinex contains only 0.5mg per tab. Since the Cabaser tabs are scored, many take half a rab of Cabaser to get the same dosage as 1 tab of Dostinex at a fraction of the price. However this can be done only according to your doctor's permission.

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); behavior changes (eg, aggression, increased gambling or sexual urges); chest pain; confusion; cough; depression; fainting; hallucinations; irregular heartbeat; mood or mental changes; shortness of breath; sudden unexplained weight gain; swelling of hands or feet; vision disturbances.

I prefer to control prolactin with aromasin, I don't think it's a good idea to just take a dopamine agonist unless your prl is very high via blood test or prl gyno.

i think its a must with a deca cycle.

but take very small dosages.. .25 every 5 days is all you need. but a good idea to cover all bases.

actually i'm always having some of these sides when i first start taking it but after a week my body adapts to it, but the things is what kind of permanent damage can u have if run for a long time even if it's run on the lowest dose (0.5mg/week) or it's none existant and only at higher doses?

from what i've read if you already have heart, liver, or kidney issues definately stay away.

and if you start noticing any symptoms to stop it immediately.

Why would it be a must if aromasin will control the prolactin enough in 99% of people and is so much better for you? I have no problem with its use if prolactin issues still arise but most will never have this.

Endojuice, Do you mean standalone Aromasin is enough for a cycle lets say with 500mg/week Test and 400mg/week DEca for both estrogen and prolactin control?? And what about the arimidex or letro or fareston?? Do they also control the prolactin levels besides estrogen levels as aromasin in the body??

Prolactin levels are directly related to estrogen levels so if you control estrogen you're also controlling prolactin... not to the same level as a dopamine agonist (caber etc) but good enough for 95%+ of us.
