Ok, after a visit with my doctor it was discovered that i have an infection. He prescribed an anti-inflammatory and something for bacteria. He was cool about the steriod use, he did give me a hard time at all. He said it should get better after two days. What should i do about the gear? was it the gear or was it from me. Im confused about what to do because this is the first time it happened to me.

Hey thought I would give a little advice from my own personal experience. I was useing gear packaged in these "sachetes" as their called, Look like a ketchup packets. I was told to extract the gear by peircing the side and withdrawing all gear into the syringe. The mistake I made was using the same pin. When I made the stick I actually pushed a small piece of the plastic in with it, talk about an infection, I couldn't walk. Gave me strong antibiotics and was lucky it healed. It is an absolute must the area you stick must be cleaned with alcohol along with the pin and even the top of the vial. If any foreign substance enters with the pin you have a great chance of infection. I my self would use the gear as long as I felt it was good. That is your call, you know where you get your stuff. Dont rush your injections, think clean clean clean.

Agree, that can not be stressed enough

it was probably skin flora that got pushed in when u made the injection. I doubt its the gear. hopefully u are taking something like augmentin for the infection

Im truely not taking up for the source or the product im taking but i feel it was my fault. I need to take a bath after work and then do an injection. I just wash my hand and i use alchol swabs to clean the area. I dont think that was enough cleaning and i gave myself the infection.

bingo

Good to hear you're taking care of it. This is your call man, but be careful. For me I would use swab alcohol and clean the top of the vial before drawing with needle #1 21g, replace needle for injecting with
needle #2 23g, new swab and alcohol and clean the skin, and then inject. All new swabs & all new injections.
To some this migh seem a bit complicated but for me I surely did not want to risk infection.
