So I'm a few weeks from teh end of my last cycle of 500mg Test E. (last inject is oct 7th i think. I started around 195 or 200. I'm 236 now. Here are the before pics and current (as of 9/10)

I am going to be starting my PCT around the 10th or 11th but training wise I'm confused what I want to do. I know that I do want to continue to gain so I was thinking about starting a 5x5 pretty soon after teh completion of my cycle. I wouldn't mind maybe cutting for 4 weeks to keep my extra weight in check but not sure and I know I would have to wait until after the PCT to ensure I didn't drop all the mass I just put on.

I am antipating finishign this cycle at around 242 or so. I'm assuming I'll lose a good 10 lbs at least in water after the cycle. My goal for the 5x5 would be to get back to 240+ when off. The 5x5 would be over around January if i started it promptly when my cycle ended.

I am planning on running a cutter and 2nd cycle somewhere betweeen feb-march so this timing wouldn't be so bad. What all do you recommend. I want to keep as much gains as possible and end up around 215-210 lean this summer. Any advice is appreciated

I would continue to bulk for now. posibley clean up the diet a little rather than all out cut. judgeing by your pics a full blown cut would drop you well below 200lbs.so i would hold off on that for now.

i agree, forgot to add i'm 6'1" so i like the fact that i have put on so much weight, i get asked if i was a linebacker in college often now :) Is 5x5 a good choice post cycle? i figure the 4 weeks starting will be nice

I don't know what 5x5 is. I probley read about it and it went in one ear and out the other. I just lift weights. I don't spend too much attention to the science behind it.

i heard of and read about a 5x5 but im not to familar wiht it..i would just change rountine up put ur muscles in more stress and shock then just up your cardio and ull be straight man

Absolutely dont start cutting in pct. I have done it and you will loose it all and its depressing.
Training in pct should be quick in and out of the gym,30 min max.
5x5 could be good I think. I just drop down the amounts of sets I was doing while on.
Lift heavy but dont go to failure. Thats the best advice I can give you. :)

5x5 is a GREAT workout, but there are a bunch of good routines, I would advise you drop in the training forum on here for a bit and read the stickys and some post you'll get great info. And I agree don't go into restricted calories during PCT. I personally keep my same type of routine during PCT I just lower sets as well. Good Luck! Congrats on the gains

I always used 5x5's and they are great. I like them for stength and all out weight gain. For me though building quality mass I train everything once a week. What I like to do is to run a 5x5 until my strength gains stall and then deload for about two weeks, then start the hypertrophy workouts. The added strength always allows me to work with heavier weights in the second phase thus getting bigger. Always worked for me.

hey,....
i wantb to hav my first cycle...
im thinking of deca 100 mg and sustanon 250 mg per week..for six weeks...
tellme is it a gud cycle?...
i heard that one should run test insted of susta ....can i know the reason?....
ad also tellme the pct for it....and what if we donot excercise during a pct,...would it effect us?

Actually if I were you, I'd increase the calories a little bit during PCT. You gained some nice mass and you do not want to let it go to waste. Once you have solidified it, then you can jump into a cutter with some AAS and a good calorie restricted diet. I know you want to look shredded ASAP so you can show off the new muscle (who doesn't?) but you have to remember that bodybuilding is long term and if you think this way, you will do very well.

Yea, I can certainly wait and I'm not in a rush. In fact I'd like to gain more :)
