that song right there revived a city. the beginning is sad if you lived through it like i did you would know what im talking about and then it breaks into the saints are coming chorus and brings the mood back up. thats basically how it was. everything was miserable and sad. when the saints got back everyones spirits were lifted. this song epitomizes it

you had to root for the saints during the katrina season...it was inhuman not to.

but now that new orleans is rebuilt they can fuck off. paper thin defense having mofos

first off... NOLA is nowhere close to being "rebuilt" second off...last year the defense was awful. our defense is stout as fuck this year. tracy porter, randall gay, jabari greer, darren sharper, malcolm jenkins, jonathon vilma, bobby mccray, charles grant, will smith, sedrick ellis,roman haper, usama young, and possibly derrick brooks. are you fucking kidding me!?!?! this defense is completely revamped bro. plus with gregg williams new at defense coordinator....

yeah you named all those guys before and i had to reiterate one by one how crappy and over the hill most of them are.

new orleans is where injury ravaged defensive pro bowlers go to die.

that was a stacked defense.....in madden 2005 lol

like
-the saints having no defense
-the redskins overpaying everybody
-the lions having crappy quarterbacks
-the patriots cheating
-the steelers having a legit D
-the browns being terrible

can't fuck with fate
 
how many of them are old? we dont have brooks yet (who wouldnt even start). sharper? is that it!?! and in 2005 we didnt have a defense. we havent had a defense that everyone down here was excited about since 88 with the dome patrol YouTube - Dome Patrol
 
their linebackers, although small, are pretty decent right now.

that secondary is garbage. always been their real problem.
unless malcolm jenkins turns out to be a stud way ahead of schedule. very rare for a rookie corner to do that....unless your name is darelle revis.

jabari greer? Couldn't even stay on the bills depth chart. randal gay? Garbage...
porter hasn't proven crap except that he gets injured.
 
well right now they have gay (hes pretty good bro, not as bad as you saying) lol and porter. tracy porter really is a beast. go watch training camp footage of him. i am kind of hoping that greer starts over gay though. jenkins is going to play some corner and some safety alongside sharper and harper. btw jenkins is really that good but he is still unproven in real nfl games so i get your point. and fujita is a big LB

they can definetely move the chains, no surprise there.

what did they do to solve their downhill runner issue though? I don't remember if they picked anyone up or drafted anybody.

they need a younger version of deuce when he was good
 
we got that. look out for pierre thomas. he played a limited role last season. they had him listed as a sleeper pick up in fantasy draft. hes a good back. thats why we didnt draft beanie and went with malcolm.
 
plus if you look at pierre last season he had 5 starts and scored 9 touchdowns. he knows his role is going to be "power back" and to run up the muddle and bush to get around the corners so he added about 20lbs of muscle this offseason

New Orleans is a impoverished, crime ridden, shithole run by corrupt politicians.

I hope the next hurricane makes the Mississippi River take the port to Beaumont, TX and the rest of the city gets flushed into the Gulf of Mexico.

I grew up in mid-city N.O. not in suburbia ... I watched hoodlums kick people at Mardi Gras parades with razors in their shoes.

I swam in the City Park lagoons in my drawers with the brothas. :afro:

Just stick to the Northshore and enjoy your existence in the St. Tammany Parish white bread world, since you don't know what living in the inner city is really like.
