no I'm pretty sure christians view abortion as murder......in fact they make no distinction between abortion and walking up to someone and killing them for no reason. I am talking about the more fundamental people though, the ones who take the bible word for word.

actually there may be abortions actually performed in the bible in the old testiment soooo i dunno....

And one of the most fundamental Christians pastors ever (I cant decide if he's a nutcase or what...he's very fundie) who writes tons of Christian books, Dr. Peter Ruckman says that abortion is NOT murder, that a human does not have a soul until birth - so no murder is taking place

Any reasonable and intelligent person could make an objective argument for either side, and therein lies the never ending debate.

can you see where this breaks down? Like with an abusive husband who basically raped his wife get's to have a say?? or let's take it further, does a rapist get to have a say if his victim becomes pregnant?

They shouldn't do either. Shelters are overwhelmed. And it's a nice feeling that your pet will have a nice, "painless" death, isn't it? And what's this suffering nonsense?
