I compeeted yestreday in BB and today (8 hours from now) I?m compeeting in Classic Bodybuilding. I sodium depleeted on Friday (also no sodium yesterday of course) and my water intake yesterday was close to zero. I ate only sweet potatoes, chickenbreasts and a little of peanut butter yesterday. My condition was wery good yesterday (dry and tight) but my fear is that I?m now loosing water from my muscles. Should I start salt and water intake by now or is there something I can do to get water back in to my muscles fast and without spillover?

Best regards.

It is tough to do two comps in a row.

Potassium is the intracellular ion, not sodium. A banana might help.

If your bodyfat is low enough, a little bit of water is not going to make a huge difference.

You also don't want to be completely fc-uked and tired for your next comp, I would have something to drink.

you could drink water today and get up early in the morning and sweat it out.

Sweating brings water to the skins surface and blurs muscle definition, so things like tanning beds, which cause inflammation of the skin, and saunas are out in the last week before a comp.

A lot of natties don't bother with the water/salt manipulation.

If you are in good condition (low enough body fat), you will look good.

i dont know. i know a few who do these crazy back to back events and they drink water then early morning they nail the cardio. in fact even a few of the olympia competitors do this for their 2 day show. obviously drugs will help this work. it is an ideal aproach.
