i used to maintain the annual and monthly budget at my old job and luckily so far in this job, no budgeting responsibilities. but, that could change
also, can i borrow 20 bucks?

plus, I have been here 4.5 months.... and have NO files regarding what we spent in 2007 for ANYTHING before I started. So i have no idea what tradeshows, and at what cost. most of the 2008 shows that I assume we'll be attending haven't even published their prices yet, let alone show logistics (shipping, electrical, cleaning, etc.)
I told this all to my boss, and said the best I can do is give an approximate average cost per show and a guess as to how many we'll be attending this year, but the truth is, i have NO clue.
Our CEO wants to attend a show in Dubai this year. well is that a $10,000 expense or a $50,000? or more? i don't know. prices aren't published yet, and i don't know if we've gone there before, or what we paid.
and, no, i don't know what a budget even looks like. a spreadsheet, i hope.
