i love tribal tats. i have a south american aztec warrior tat that covers my right pec, shoulder, bi, tri, and trap. i also have a half sleeve on my left bi, tri, and shoulder which is also in the same line as my right side. i love the all black, like the actors from apocalypto. my guy showed me pics from history books and took ideas from the pics in creating mine. i like that. to each his own, i would never get colorful picture tattoos. only black work that means something.

Tim I think we had a talk about this a while back, except you were giving props to samoan tribal tattoos at the time, could be someone else though, anyway yeah I dig apocalypto... good movie, but yeah the bodyart is amazing. Yeah I could dig that.
As intimidating and just filled with ancestral legends of fierce combat, Aztec culture takes a far second to the Mayans for me. Mayans were fucking geniuses... a far more encompassing worldview than the one we operate under.

only in my thead do you actually get a nod that says, yeah rnch I can see where U are coming from. Plus I'm on campus so I take everything literally, just a contextual habit that is hard to shake. lol

See now to say that others are polluting their bodies seems a bit harsh. I mean, if it makes THEM happy and don't hurt anybody, then why not?

Frequenting all the biker places we do you can imagine that we see A LOT of art. I admire some of the vibrant colors and downright beauty displayed in the art but would I cover MY back or get a sleeve or some other very prominent tat? No... just not for me. Not at this stage of my life anyways.

I do have two tattoos and I am thinkin that is enough.

I have one on my left hip that symbolizes my personal relationship with my children. And I have another that only my husband can see. It is symbolic of strength and independence from men.

I see some peeps with the most bizaare tatts and shake my head and think, "What THE HELL were they thinkin?" But at the end of the day, it is on THEM so not my worry.

My Grumpy Old Biker Bastard husband doesn't have a single mark on him. Go figure. He looks like he should be covered and EVERYONE is shocked when I show the one on my hip.

We havent' really labeled what we are, we just agreed to not have sex with other peeps awhile, but ts not cheating if you aren't in the same state. I mean geographically and physically. I mean I wasn't in Texas when we made this agreement and I was high. So there. Im just kidding, U and I are on same page, keeps karma from ruining your shit. I've never seen a tattoo that I thought was "me" or I guess I would have a tat. I just haven't seen anything that I thought was worthy of being immortalized forever on my skin.

I've so many tattoos that I have thought, "now, that wouldn't even be cool to hang as art in the living room for 5 years and the person put it on their body FOREVER."

Some tats are okay, though. It just isn't for me.

I know you can get one of the sage Anandamayi Ma, she was this hawtie, cutie indian chic, who was born enlightened. Must be nice. Anyway, she would always answer people with 'Your daughter...

Awesome chic, that would scare the hell outta me.
