To me this just sounds like a conversation in a coffeeshop in Holland -weed's legal there- between 3 or 4 people who are geographically distant but decided to finally meet each other due to their connection which could have been a nomadic vagabound artist who connnected their lives, or an online community linking them all, perhaps they all have the same recurring dream... doesn't matter what the content or why they meet... what I think is awesome is the eagerness, and anticipation and just nervous energy that pervades the air... Peeps who are not geographcially linked living very different lives seemingly isolated with no effect on the other, yet this lack of connection is really just a facade, and through 3 hours of convo over what they had in commmon, they begin to see that over the last two years they each had the same pattern of sensing that everything was speeding up, that conversations with others felt more flat, and that while everyone else was speeding up around them, every day, in a whisper of feeling of just opening up to each moment became stronger and stronger and that that life was actually slowing down and that they had more time... they had more time in the sense that a stillness had entered their mind, and that they were not like everyone else always going but never arriving... each day was getting straighter... well anyway these peeps are just enjoying their convo all sharing how this linking thing connected them all. I just imagine the convo would be awesome, the feeling of anticpation, joy, and just utter warmth would kick so much ass. Anyway, this is what this song reminds me of. The journey, isolation, wonder, and then finding companionship and joy and understanding... Yup.. That's what I feel

Manowar are absolutely huge in Germany. They have a fantastic metal scene over there.
