I never had a good grip or mind-muscle connection with my forearms until I got into the coc or HG grippers. Within few weeks of getting serious with a pair of those I stopped using my straps on all but the toughest sets. Not sure if it will build the forearms much in terms of size but gets them strong for other things.

pinwheel curls are a forearm exercise, i know people mistake it for bicep b/c the word curl is in there, but it is def for forearms.
i wasnt questioning what the exercise was for. just whether it put on any significant size on your forearms.
yes, it is a mass building exercise for your forearms. if you try them sometime and don't feel like your forearms are going to explode, then you didn't do near enough weight.

+1! Judging by your avatar you have long arms, nevertheless your forearms look very well, so I guess the pinwheel worked for you and would work for anybody else.
