Barclay's Golf Tournament

So from Thursday to today I bartended @ the Barclay's @ a golf course here in NJ. Made almost $900 in tips over the 4 days, but for the life of me I can't figure out the facination of golf. It seemed God awful borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrringgggggg. But I hate to have an opinion on something I'm not educated about, so someone give me a crash course education here.....what am I missing?

you don't play it....therefor you don't get it. I look at rugby like it orginated in another galaxy.....but if I played it I'd bet I'd find it interesting to watch. When you play golf....which is possibly the hardest and most frustrating physical game you can play, you appreciate what those sick fucks do on the PGA tour. There's a reason why when one of those guys drops a ball on the green more than 10-15 away, the announcers seem pretty non plussed and on occasion add a "he'll be disappointed with that effort". That always kind of aggravated me. If I dropped a 3 iron within 15 ft of the hole, I'd do a fucking rain dance.........it's all in perspective.

lol.......I suggest you take lessons first, seriously. If you don't have any notion of swing fundamentals, you will hack the shit out of a golf course and piss everyone off behind you. Take a lesson or two......or three.........than go hit the driving range.

I play golf, I like golf. To me, its relaxing and at the same time at the ninth hole everyone meets since in my area that I play at it the nice spot thats has alot of trees. We hang out, let people by, some drink their berrs, I just sit, laugh, and enjoy the view. Then I kick ass on the back 9.
