yeah, ot and hazard pay
about half of those hours were on call hours, so i really wasn't doing any work, but i couldn't leave my station

sounds like a nice way to get paid. From what I can tell from your posts, this fireman stint is doing well for ya, not only economically, but more personally as well (not that overall well being isn't closely tied to steady income).
