Do pro bodybuilders like Ronnie Coleman actually over-train on purpose to get to that shape ??? Or they work out just like us (meaning not over-train and get same rest) and use more gear (im sure they use more gear)????

anyone know what his work out schedule is like??
how many hours do they workout a day?
how many days a week?
and how many sets and reps?

When I read aronold's encyclopedia of bodybuilding long time ago, advanced training routines looked "over-training" to me, it was like 20 sets of high (10-15) reps per body parts (i don't remember exact numbers) and they had AM and PM sessions..... do they even have a off day????? is it ok to follow that same routine in that book?

dude ronnie is to the poing now where his biceps r so big he does not want them to get any bigger so he trains them once a week....

i started a new bicep routine that is close to over training......bc my biceps r underdeveloped......

they r growing now and i do more bicep exercises now then i ever thought i needed

"no such thing as over training just under eating" think it was coleman
to a point that makes sense but no one here is at that level
most work jobs and cant do the split morning and evening work outs everyday
like pros do 6 days a week and take massive amounts of drugs and foot the 1500$ a month food bill (yes coleman said he eats 350 -400$ a week worth of food or around 50$-65$ a day)thats $18,000 a year worth of food.

one mentioned to me years ago that the pros bust their ass in the gym and are addicted to lifting so bad to be taken away from the gym is like taking away their only friend.

im not too quite sure about that food bill, that man must be a dump truck to able to down all that down, but i reckon as your muscles become more developed they require more specific training, me im just doing all compound excercises for my muscles, i hardly ever do any isolation apart maybe leg extensions, but dont forget its high intesity that builds the most muscle not volume,(well thats how it works for me anywayz)

I believe that about his food bill...I mean the bigger you get the more cals you have to eat when bulking..thus the more food you eat. I am 185lbs and I easily make a few trips to the grocery store a week when bulking.. I think ronnie is like 330lbs off season...You saying that he is a dump truck is absolutley right. And its a pain in the ass. See america wants ppl to get in shape and eat healthy and some ppl wanna get jacked and have to eat healthy to get quality gains but yet it costs sooo much to eat right and yet its soooo cheap to eat like shit and look like shit! HMPH!

Not sure of Ronnie's schedule. I would say though that among all pro bodybuilders, everything you mentioned varies from person to person. Pros are just like us, only bigger. :) They train, eat, sleep, and juice according to their individual needs and those needs change all the time.
