Is it inappropriate to buy bed sheets for a wedding gift?

It's actually for an engagement party, whatever the fuck that is (wait, I know - one foot in the grave, that's what it fucking is). I kind of think it's funny, that he'd be banging his wife on my sheets. Plus, if I buy the shit online, what do I give them at the party? A card saying, "enjoy the sheets, bitch"??

usually people register for gifts they want, if sheets aren't on any registry, I wouldn't get them.

sheets are also very individual.. not only the color/pattern.. but the thread count.. and do you want to get them a full set of designer sheets with comforter cover and everything, that could easily run $1000+

We use to do some nasty ass shit to one another back in the day .. there was a group of about 6 of us that hung out all the time .. one by one we all got picked off and each time the stunts got worse and worse ...

It all started off with one girl passing out and nasty pictures of her were taken with various object of subjective size inserted in a certain place ... We are all sitting at the head table during speachs and toasts when the pictures started to get passed around under the table .... fuck i almost spit out my tounge when they came to me ...
