Hi lads,

Carbs and fats vary around training.
Very dialed in here.

Sunday blood flow/recovery
Today’s session is some easy aerobic work with some bodyweight work sprinkled in. I have a smick home gym set up which makes it all the more easier to be this creative with these types of sessions as I am the only member 🤣🤣

Every minute on the minute x 42 min
Min 1 - easy bike erg
Min 2- 10-12 dips
Min 3- easy row
Min 4 - 8-10 strict pull ups
Min 5- 10 Russian KBs + 10 heel elevated squats
Min 6- easy ski erg
Yesterday at jujitsu I did 10x5 min rounds with 30 secs rest better each so I am a bit stiff today. It was also day after my Reta pin and i Really struggled to eat! I up it to 2.5mg this week, I think I’ll go back down to 2mg next week.

Monday check in

Weight 102.5kgs

Injections/supps
Test C 80mg
Wolverine 1mg
Mots c 2mg
BPC 1mg
Creatine 5g
Vitamin D 3000 IU
Tadalafil 2.5mg

Nutrition:
Been dialed in thanks to Reta it’s been so easy to stick to a decent deficit, had a lot of good fat loss so far, I only want to drop another 3-4kg. Also really found the mots great for energy!

2200 total cals
220g protein
Carbs and fats are interchangeable for depending on the day but I aim for around 160-180g carb and 60-70 fats

Training update:
I follow a variation of Westside barbell the template is Westside for skinny bastards. It follows principles of conjugate method but not as hectic and a really good template for grappling in my opinion. It keeps you lifting heavy and also has higher volume work for muscle endurance and hypertrophy.

It has a heavy focus on upper back work and pulling strength which is very important for grappling. I also like that it has plyometric work sprinkled it once a week which keeps me athletic. It’s also fairly low volume which is good for how much I train grappling.

The template is:
Session one: upper body - max effort
Session two: Lower body - high volume/repetition method
Session three: upper body high volume/repetition method
Session four: Lower body - plyometric/max effort.

Todays session: upper - max effort

Extra credit - home gym
I have a pretty good little home gym set up, nothing crazy but enough to get the job done, my training is always simple but hard! I’ve got bike erg, ski erg, rower, barbell, 300kg worth of weights, DBs 5-40kg, cable pulleys, specialty bars, GHD machine, banded etc!! I can’t name it all lol

My training happens at 4:30am daily.

From this morning. Size wise I’m fairly happy want to lean down a little more. Need to get rid of that waist.
Heaps of mass brother!
Your Traps look huge!
@the_alcatraz is suggesting that you aren't taking in enough carbs. Even though you are on a diet, I have to agree with Him on what he is saying & suggesting, which is to cycle your Carbs.
May I suggest 250-300g on Back & Leg days & your standard fluctuating carb intake on your lower day's?

Thanks brother!
I think I’ll give this a go I don’t pay attention to carbs too much to be honest just get protein in and make Sure I hit my cals. But I’ll up them on my heavier training days. Thank you!

Carbs are super important for performance aswell brother. If you put the majority of the extra carbs Pre, Intra & or post workout, then this will only serve to boost your metabolism & performance!

Yeah ok I’ll give it a go! I’m finding it so hard to eat on Reta lol I’m only on a low dose too but I think I only have 3-4kg left that I want to lose so it won’t be long. I’m hoping I see some decent results from upping my test for my first cycle. Once that’s done i think I’d add primo or mast ontop.

Fat loss can occur not only from dropping cals, but also from putting on more muscle mass, as muscle uses fuel to function, repair, recover & grow & your pre-existing & additional muscle mass will require calories even at rest. Upping the carbs on back & leg days (major bodypart days) serves only to fuel more muscle growth & get even leaner in the process. May I recommend the addition of Dextrose or Maltodextrose for you at around those working out times. You drink it, so no need to worry about having no appetite. You can buy in in woolies, Coles or brewing stores. Feel free to DM me for amounts, timing & anything else brother. Getting lean is my specialty
