Chevy Silverado or Ford F-Series?

I do live at my parent's house, not in the basement. I was encouraged by my parents to stay home and save for a house, so I did. Smart move.

I'm there for 4 more weeks, then I'll move into my own house with my soon to be wife and start a great life together. I'll have a house paid off in less than 5 years, including counting for the expense of children that will come soon.

I played my cards right and took advantage of my opportunities to plan for the future.

I'll own a house free and clear with a beautiful family before I'm 35.

Bull shit aside-

nah man that's a good look, I left my parents at 23 biggest mistake.. honeslty its the new trend anyways lots of people staying at home till 35 to be debt free from a mortgage. I mean you could have moved out at 23 and had a 25-35 year mortgage that would be paid off whenever say 50.. not worth it

I bought a condo but I want to get out of it.. house is a next step but the housing market in TO is no joke..gonna take a few years.

my parents still to this day tell me to come back and save and get a house.

I was stubborn when younger and wanted to live the single life.

Owned 2 condo's sold one.. live in one now..

It makes life easier to stay home until you can easily get into a house with a low payment that is relatively short-lived.

I don't clash with my parents much so it's been overall pretty manageable.

Ya -agreed

I wasn't clashing but just didn't have the space I needed, I noticed when I did move out I am way more appreciative of them and the things they did for me. Blessing in disguise actually.

But ya man it's a great move- I'm actually contemplating it my self for September.. giving it serious thoughts- might throw my place up in July and see what happens.

Watch the market trends for Condos. If prices are going up steadily, wait a bit and get more money for it.

My dad made a killing because of the housing crash. He sold two properties in 2007 that were about $800k combined, then bought them back for half the price in 2009 when people couldn't afford them and the market was dick.

I did the same with buying stocks. I made a killing when stocks hit bottom. I bought $5k worth of shares at $9 bucks, and they're worth over $100 a piece right now. I sold $17.5k worth earlier this year at about $86 per share.

Capitalize on the market conditions.
