I'd like to start off by saying that I'll be the first one to admit that i screwed up badly when I decided to do a cycle 5 months ago. I was ripped off badly by a guy at my gym, and was sold either deca or a watered down test prop, because my T levels were 7 on a 300-1110 range when I got myself tested at the 4 week mark of the cycle. I stopped use immediately, and was instructed by my doctor to let my body recover naturally and that everything would be ok. No nolva, no clomid. Nothing. 4 months later (plenty of time to recover), I got my bloods taken and my T levels were at 416.

The thing is, is that although the cycle/lack of pct certainly could have prevented my levels from ever fully going back to how they were prior to the cycle, I think that my levels are unfortunately just naturally low.. because now I feel the exact same as I did before the cycle. Even if they are not naturally low, I don't think they're going to improve any more at this point.

When I went back to my doctor for a follow up appointment since I was concerned about my low T levels, she told me that since I was so young she would never recommend me any sort of TRT. So according to my doctor, I'm completely immune to any sort of health risks linked to low T because I'm "young", and I think that's a bad judgement call. She still thinks they're going to go up into the 800 range... and I know from my genetics (dad is on the lower range of the scale also) that it just isn't possible.

What do you guys suggest I do? I was thinking about going to an endocrinologist because I'm getting no-where with my current doctor, she is the most unreasonable lady I've ever encountered.

Doesnt sound like you did a lot of harm to yourself. If you were given deca or watered down test and took it for 4 weeks, that isnt going to screw you up for life requiring TRT permanently.
Just wait things out for a while and live and workout normally and get bloods done in a few months and see what happens. Your problems (if there are any) would be related to factors other than taking gear for a few weeks and stopping. your doctor is right so far so dont be in any rush to put yourself on TRT at 19 and then question whether you really needed it when its too late later on.

Being shackled to a needle every week with TRT for years and years is nothing to take lightly

I'd seek a 2nd opinion

Thanks for the replies. I agree with being on trt for the rest of my life would suck, but what if that's my only option? It's been 4 months since the cycle, and I don't believe my levels are going to increase beyond this point. I don't think my cycle would have screwed me up permanently either, but I think that my levels were naturally low to begin with. I keep a clean diet and workout 6 times a week but my body fat levels dont reflect this because of my low T. I'd rather have naturally higher levels, but i don't think that's going to be possible. Plus, I've seen zero progress in the gym over the last 4 months. I'm setting up an appointment with an endocrinologist next week.

Don't jump into the abyss yet.....see what the 2nd doc says

Why don't you run a natty stack? There are plenty of product's that will have you feeling good in the gym and in the bedroom. unleashed, bridge , test infusion , hcgenerate ES , test stack etc etc.

For starters, if you dont know what your T levels where before you ran a cycle then you have nothing to compare to so your current 416 is a worthless number. 416 is not bottom of the barrel low. Its not great but not low either. Id give it more time.

Trying to find a doc to put you on TRT at 19 with test levels of over 400 is a waste of your time and theirs, aint gonna happen and you wouldnt want to do it anyway..

This^

a natty stack would bring your T to an optimal level.

Alright, I'll wait until the end of the year and re-test, but if my levels have still yet to improve, something has to be done.

Nothing has to be done.. Technically you're in the normal range

I have a thread up right now on how I used natty T boosters to bring my T levels into the high range. Even if you just buy some bulk DAA, it could be the boost you need. You did nothing to recover yourself after tanking your hormones so give it a shot. I'd rather run a good natty stack than go on trt

I'm in the normal range, but no-where near optimal levels. I just read an article the other day that had some interesting info on it about T levels: "How Testosterone Levels Affect Muscle Growth and Fat Loss" Muscleforlife (cant post link b/c I have under 25 posts)

" researchers at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science did find that fluctuations of testosterone within the physiological normal range had significant effects on body fat percentage.

The higher the testosterone levels, the leaner subjects were. And conversely, the lower the testosterone levels, the fatter they were. When researchers decreased certain subjects’ testosterone levels from the baseline average of 600 ng/dl to around 300 ng/dl, they saw a dramatic 36% increase in fat mass."

I actually took some DAA following the cycle rather than pct, but didn't see much of a difference once I jumped off of it.. maybe a slight libido drop if at all.

I'm gonna give you some advice and not jerk you around so if you want to be coddled and pet then don't read this post.

look kid when i was 19 i was worried about my job, trying to get laid as much as possible and college.

you've got this shit in your head and you are gonna do something stupid out of ignorance. nothing needs to be done.. if you want to boost your levels then run a natty supp as jb has said.. thats all.. stop messing around with your hormones.

also your first post makes no sense. if you were sold deca or watered down test your T levels wouldn't be 7 and why the fuck would a source sell someone deca instead of test, its not like there is a price difference where he would make money selling you deca and not test lol.. they would be much higher. you have a lot to learn about hormone use and your doctor is a moron.. combine those 2 facts and you have a disaster which is commencing.

and please stop argueing with everyone on here.. you don't know shit about what you are talking about and we all have centuries of experience so why do you keep argueing and posting studies like you are some sort of expert? just STFU and listen to advice from people who have been there and done that.

if you want help with your diet go to the diet section.. injecting testosterone isn't gonna solve that problem either

Who the fuck worries about their optimal T levels at 19? Youre levels are within normal range, quit trying to kill a fly with a sledgehammer and avoid roids for a few years unless you want a real reason to get shackled to a needle the rest of your life

sounds like he got involved in something he had no business doing and now is panicking and using the internets to pull up studies.. reminds me of the time a girl didn't call me back and i started googling what that meant .. ah to be 19 again

Yea, try feeding your body what it needs. Your not going to find a doc to give you T with a level over 400. WTF is with kids today....sheese!

It is rather informative to read the OP's entire post history. It seems pretty evident that he not here for advice, he is here to find someone to tell him it is ok to do whatever it is he wants to do. He has had more than half a year of good advice here, all of which he has ignored, which leads him to the predicament he is now in. I think the answer he is looking for now is how to convince a doctor to prescribe him trt (with normal levels, and at 19 years old....not gonna happen).

OP, if you are still around here....you remind me of how I was at your age (I was slightly younger actually)...I have a feeling you are actually a very intelligent person, but unfortunately this kind of person is often the hardest to get to listen to reason. You have on this board, a wealth of experience...something that I never had access to when I was your age (pre-internet)...please don't let it go to waste....take advantage of the knowledge, information, and experience that are at your fingertips. Your best bet right now is likely a test booster. Give it a shot, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

We dont need to read his post history to tell what hes after, its pretty clear from this thread alone but I totally agree with your assessment. I think this thread has run its course.

i just went through his prior posts and the threads are a riot. he was given advice from start to finish and ignored it from start to finish. its funny the advice he was given by everyone ended up happening to a tee and he still won't listen.

yeah we all were smart asses at 19 but atleast most of us listened to people who knew more than us on things.
