Intervention (The Final Season)

Eh, when I watch it I see how a few of my friends spiraled out of control and died when all they had to do was reach out and ask for help.

There's a point of no return.

A young person that's in a situational abuse condition can perhaps turn their life around with the right resources. Some of the hardcore junkies documented on this show have done such irrevocable damage the sunny portrait of their recovery is hardly sustainable.

It's difficult for me to disguise televising the incredible amount of suffering associated with addiction to assuage morbid curiosity vs televising throwing a person you perceive as inferior to the lions for the gains of network ratings.

Changed my mind...and my post

Carry on

The shows stats aren't bad as to how many interventions stuck... At least in the short term. It'd be interesting to know the make up of the audience.. Does it help other addicts? Or more for the families and friends of the addicts?

I hate that show.

This, that one and hoarders, I like that it can be educational and eye opening for some, but let's get real here its mostly viewer morbid curiosity and the disgusting satisfaction many get by judging others despite having little to no life experiences that could generate empathy in the first place.

Disgusting.

But after comparing their lives to mine, i instantly feel like a god

I've never missed an episode. Alcoholics and meth heads provide the most lulz due to their extreme unpredictability. Can I intervention needto edition?
