I was just on the phone with my friend about this. This shit doesn't happen with old people like me (37 and older). If kids were hyperactive they got in trouble at school, got spanked when they got home, and went OUTSIDE and played to get rid of their energy. Now? "It's ok honey, they're just different" *go and play killing games while they suck down energy drinks barely engineered to miss FDA stim bans, and picture people dying as they become desensitized. < Run-on, I know.

Broken home, dad plays the same games every other weekend if they're lucky, mom's an entitled bitch feeling like she missed out on life instead of being blessed with kids (projection), and kids are just numb to everything.

They have to do something horrible to feel something, and then off themselves to avoid consequences.

First, Charles Whitman (he was 25 at the time) was the first spree killer and it happened in 1966. There is a reason these people don't make it to 37.

Secondly, beating children to correct for violence is an oxymoron.

There is a correlation between early childhood trauma and violence, not video games and red bull; It's about the parenting.

There was a dickbag CNN reporter that mentioned it and he said something to the effect that "at least non of the kids died". I wanted to stab and cut him just to see how he thought it'd work out.

There's been virtually no coverage of all the children stabbed in China today.

I've heard the "oh it doesnt matter because they didnt die" on FB all day, pisses me off, specially because some were critical in the hospital and there has been no follow up coverage

And I think every single person in this thread who had the balls to bring up gun control is a heartless douchebag, just like every politician who's doing the same. Babies died today and so did adults trying to protect them in an impossibly hard situation. To talk about anything but the devastating heartbreak and the courage of some of those teachers is such an atrocious disconnection from life.

*That's* the reason stuff like this happens. Not guns, not prescription meds or violent entertainment, but an irreverence for life, a state of being so "evolved" that your mind wanders to national agenda, instead of a natural, primal compassion for life, especially those of small, helpless children who's lives have either been ended or ruined.
