I baked my batch of Enanthate today instead of normal flame swirl oven top method . Baked at 400 for 35 minutes. everything went well color came out darker than usual. Just wondering if anyone has thoughts and experience with this and if anyone thinks it's bad to bake that long? Thanks ( it looks great though lol slight brownish tint lol )

Did you filter after you baked?
So now are you going to add 2% BA back to the mixture, as you baked it out.
Baking is a waste, why don't you guys just get a beaker:

Fill with BA then powder than BB over a bath of heated water:

Bath of water can be as simple as:

OR more sophisticated:

Stirring every few minutes all powder should desolve around 120f, take up to but no higher than 140f and keep between 120-140f for 20 min. Then add GS (or what ever oil) and keep between 120-140f for another 20 min. Reduce heat and bring to about 110f and filter at between 100-110f.
If you don't bottle it all, when taking it out from storage make sure you bring your mixture up to 120 and shake/stir very well, then begin to fill vials.

I have never baked. I made my decision based on the thought that the filtering was what sterilized the product. I have seen where people think the BA sterilizes also, which is incorrect. Since from what I read I felt the final prodcut was sterilized, I never wanted to risk baking and damaging the hormone.

I also have also stove swirled to get the hormone to dissolve faster and ease of filtering.

Do you think prolonged heat can damage or reduce the potency? I have looked around and never found much, but it would seemed logical that heat can change a product.

Were you baking to sterolize?

No I wasn't baking to sterilize. Just trying a new method. I put powder & ba in beaker baked @ 400 for 10 min, swirled it around beaker, then added gso and baked for another 20 min. Came out fine just a little darker than using swirl method I normally use. Just wondering if anyone had thoughts on it. Like reasoning for color or any or if at all an effect on the hormone .?. Thanks

As I mentioned a while back I respect your info and your posts I've learned alot from you 4t. I've been brewing for a while with great success using swirl oven top and I always use a beaker no matter what, just trying baking method and looking for useable input thanks bro

I am sorry if I came off strong or harsh was not intended at all. I think its brown because you burned either the ester or the test or both. When heating that high a temp you run the risk "I think" of stripping the ester from the test. Now if its not crystalized than this did not happen... Unfortuneatly we don't own a lab to test mixture potency levels. I am going to do some reading on this. You guys find more ways to spend your days. LOL
I don't know it all and heck I don't have time to mess with all these nuances that you guys do. The only reason I know what I know is reading what others, like you, have tried and failed or suceeded at. ++ don't have time to fail due to cost constraints.
Good for you guys though, but I would also say in all the posts I have read of most are baking at 220f, 400f is damn extreme.

Thanks 4t yea I think I burned something but it did not crystalize at all in fact it looked quite clear and good just brownish. I hope it's ok. Do you think if it did not crystalize that it is still ok? Thanks in advance

If it hasn't crystalized and just came out a darker brown do you guys think the batch is still good?

Nevermind guys I think it's fine it's clear looks good just slightly darker in color not as dark as my Tren thanks guys
