Trying to lose bodyfat after bulk!!

Started trying to lose weight on November 4th. I quit my cycle of sust an eq on September 22nd and am currently on my pct. I haven't been doin cardio just eating clean and drinking lots of water. I've lost 6lbs in 5 days an 2% bf. I know all the weight isn't fat. Would it b possible that I'm losing my gains? Would they really go that fast? I'm still eating well just cutting out fat an taking in moderate amount of carbs an lots of protein

yes you will lose muscle and fat at almost the same rates.

when on cycle you need to avoid putting on too much fat so you do not have to cut like that.

the proper way to cut off cycle is slowly, not fast

cardio is catabolic, notice what the marathon runners look like... all that cardio they do has burned off almost all their muscle and fat away. i'm not saying don't do cardio, but i'm saying if you keep your heart rate elevated for a long period you will start dumping muscle.

i do half a mile to a mile several times per week. also i hike.... thats all the cardio i do.

But steve I'm not even doing cardio, I've just been eating cleaner. I've been eating a high protein meal every 3hrs at the most 4hrs. I feel like I've lost size but would I really lose muscle in 5 days even if I'm still training hard, lifting heavy and eating well?

water weight is going to account for alot of that , especially stopping sust , the test seems to hold some water, as well as if your eating clean, and say reduced carbs that would also shed some more water weight, dont stress it , just keep training hard and eating clean and keep motivation up, get plenty rest etc

yeah i am saying if you do want to lose body fat quickly and do cardio be prepared to lose muscle

this is a complicated question you ask. it all depends on good a base you have, your training, your genetics, etc etc.

some guys can't build muscle natty so when they come off cycle they lose everything.

you never said your stats before and after.. and you never stated how long you've been training etc. you also didn't say what you are using for pct (yes that can make or break how much you keep after cycle)

if you never touched a weight in your life and then went on cycle and made great gains, expect to lose almost all of it when you come off. if you already had a base and years and years of training under your belt, went on cycle.. gained a couple pounds of muscle mass, expect to keep most of that.

bottom line is when you are on you are in an anabolic/androgenic state so when you come off its normal to lose some strength and size. how much is contingenet on many factors. and like csb said above, you train your ass off on cycle and off cycle.. you should be on supplements that are non suppressive.. there are many to choose from on NTBM that will give you an edge off cycle.

the proper way to cycle is this.

10 weeks on, strong PCT with natty supps, 10 weeks bridging with a natty stack.. rinse and repeat. on cycle gaining a couple pounds of solid muscle mass and a little fat. people who gain 10 or 20 pounds on cycle are severly below their genetic potential and have little base to stand on, when they come off they lose it all.. these are the guys who stay on roids a long time cause they don't know how to gain without them. that isn't cycling

Thanks csb, you put my mind at ease a bit. Just the thought if losing gains after spending £570($780) on my cycle was pissing me off. So you think if I keep training hard and eating clean an some very light (hr 130) my muscles should be safe?

as steve pointed out its difficult to say as there are many variables, but a solid pct , with continued training and intensity to give your body reason to keep the hard earned muscle, back this up with a solid diet and rest and thats the most you can do.

a suggestion might be to run on maintenance calories for now for a month or two, because dieting down after being on a bulker with coming "off" the weightloss is going to freak you out , your constantly going to second guess, me personally i would run maintenance so you can get a realistic picture when your finished pct where you stand and how much was actually lost post cycle. once you stabilize , then consider cutting for awhile.

based on my own personal experience you are shedding water weight. Don't try to cut fat yet keep eating like you were eating on cycle .. Then begin cutting carbs slowly but don't expect to keep all your Gains...did you use an AI on cycle ?

During PCT after a bulking cycle, you need to continue to eat as if you were on-cycle to keep your gains. After your testosterone levels return to normal, then you can work on reducing fat.

If you don't have the time or tolerance for that, you would be better served to concentrate on lean-bulking cycles where you put on mass more slowly but don't increase your body fat percentage.

I used nolvadex 20mg daily the whole way thru cycle. Ok so gona start eating like a horse again, could I have done much harm in 5 days tho? I've been off nearly 2 months and I never lost a single lb till I started tryin to lose fat on Friday and since then I've lost 6lbs.

If you have been off 2 months it's water from the diet switch,6 lbs isn't alot I sometimes fluctuate that Ina day, now of you had another big drop even though diet is sensible then I would be worried
