oh do i sound unimpressed by someone who can afford a 999R yet kill themselves gloriously in it the instant the tach hits over 6k?? I have to tell you I am not.

What I will give you credit for is that you seem to have put the bike up for good. That is a death rocket. The 999R is one of the worst bikes made in terms of rideability. The big liter plus bikes are usuall 4's so there's two extra cylinders to smooth out the torque curve. The 999R is a sub liter twin who's mission in life is to chuck you off the back end. Only a completely idiotic squid would buy a bike like that. I was over my head trying to push the 750 cause I couldn't spend the track time I needed to do the things I was trying to do with it. The 999R is a bike for lifetime riders cause you are living on the razor witht that thing. So you're a moron squid for buying it in the first place, if you can afford that bike you can afford a nice manageable and ultimately better looking cruiser. Who were you trying to impress with that purchase? Cause you didn't buy that bike to go ridin around in as is obvious by your own admission you don't ever lean the thing. Of course you don't cause you know if you sneeze anywhere in the turn that bike is gonna tangentially launch you into someone's garage door, and laugh at you while it's doing it.

So don't parade your ability to afford that bike infront of me, it just shows you're an idiot with money. Or at least as it pertains to the bike you "were" an idiot as it seems you wised up and put the bike away. Something though tells me it wasn't the family life that made you put it away....it got "squidly" on you didn't it? and your life flashed infront of you didn't it?. Consider yourself lucky those machines are no joke and you don't get one cause you can afford it, you get one cause it's your life's purpose to live within a few nanoseconds of death.

A) I know the 999R is beyond your riding capabilities, you've admitted it yourself.

B) I know it's beyond ALOT of people's riding capabilities which is why even people who can afford it, "don't buy it". Which makes you a squid.
