I have a Ducati 999R , I can go kinda fast in a straight line on my Ducati with 98 hp, I have 3 inches of non touched rubber on both sides of my 6 month old tires. Yea, I can lean to drag knee, but I don't because of other drivers and Fat chicks,
well then go and buy some if you think they are cheap now. Others obviously thought otherwise, but everybody has it's own opinion.
I would never look on daily movements of a stock. Look at the bigger picture. HOG had it's low as so many stock in Mar 2009 with around 8,30. They increased almost 5-fold in value since then. It's only natural that some folks pocket their gains when the company falls short of expectations. It's been up 6% the day after also.
EPS are 1.5; The stock was in it's 70s where earnings per share were 3 times as high: Harley-Davidson (HOG) Historical Earnings per Share TTM Data PER is around 20, which is also expensive. I have no idea about this business but this quick glance at the data tells me that the stock is fairly high priced and I would not touch it either. This does not say I don't like the company or it's products, only that I think the stock is too expensive.
