World War II in Photos- Alan Taylor

1. Listen (and read again).

I've said this kind of war it's sometimes necessary to preservate our freedom and our people, and of course USA has liberated a lot of countries... who is doubting about this?

Have I said I disagree with this? Yes? Quote me. You can't (as usual, when someone say something about the States... well, every country, at the end, have the fame in the world it deserve).

2. Who is comparing USA with Spain? Read again.

How old are we? Three? Are we in the school break?
*My dad win USD 30.000 per month.
-Mine, 35.000, and it's more handsome.
*I have two cars, and you only one.

Is this the level of discussion do you want? I'm sorry for you.

Do you want to compare USA with Spain? Look at your History... Texas, California, Colorado, Nevada... well, you are right... Spain has not been worth anything.

What did USA before 1776? Damn, nothing. In 1776 Spain has 2000 years of existence... and what?
Even in your independence war we helped you! Oh, you dindn't know it... what I should say now? American culture strikes again??

3. and then they were a bunch of plunderers, rapists and practically committed genocide on the Aztecs and Arawaks. Yeah! Cortes and Columbus and the Conquistadors were real winners.

but I can't say: "Hey, USA it's a terrorist country, because they've killed thousand of people" when Spain it's doing the same

Maybe, when Spain it's doing the same, in English means "hey, USA is a shit and Spain is the best".

-Let me ask you something... are you comparing the mind of people who lived in 1492 with people who is living in 2011? Scored again, bro, scored again.

4. Yeah! Cortes and Columbus and the Conquistadors were real winners.

We can talk about Hawaii, if you want. Do you know something about Hawaii? And why is an American State?

Do you know why the States is an occidental country? Why do you have a Christian tradition? Oh, yes, because of the British... no, wait... look more at the south of Europe.

5. When you talk about women being raped and conducting cruel scientific experiments on children. Who are you talking about? I know the Japanese had rape camps in Korea and VN, and the Nazis conducted sick experiments on kids.

Can you quote me? Exactly the part when I've said, the States is killing women and cruel scientific experiments with Children? No, you can't.

Per cert, Hiroshima and Nagasaky, it's a Spanish invention to attack the USA? And Guantanamo?

PS: can you give me a list of countries liberated for the USA... Cuba? Iraq? Afghanistan? Vietnam?

Yeah! USA never give freedom to accomplished their own interests.

PS2: of course, I am an anti-American, who hates the States and everything which the USA represents, etc, etc. Like 100% of Europeans... OF COURSE!

Then you find American people who asked: "Why in Europe they have a wrong idea of us?".

I understand you're not American, so I really am having a hard time understanding your post. I'm going to try to use tact with you because I just went to jail the other day for violating the EF world.

I told you bro the US was no angel, but you are sounding like we are the land of the anti-christ. I know the US has imperalized many countries because of special interests. However, at the same time the US has liberated more people than any other nation. Why do people from all over the world flock here? People will sell their children to come here. Its been going on for over two hundred years. I know some historians say the Spanish discovered America, others say the Vikings did, others say Africans did. We are talking about "The United States of America." The forming of the constitution, which was designed by people of British Descent. I know how Hawaii was annexed, they overthrew the queen. America was settled way before any Europeans came over here, by the Natives...Sorry. The US liberated Western Europe after WWII, and Eastern Europe after the Cold War. Middle Eastern countries a few times, Central America countries. Even Japan after WWII was liberated by the US.

When did America try to commit genocide and have rape camps? Yes, I will compare people today with people from 1492. Idi Oumee, Adolf Hitler, Suddam Hussein all tryed to commit genocide in modern times. Nothing has changed.

Like I said, it's hard for me to understand you (no potshot), so that's all can say for now. You are making sense but not telling the whole story.

Europe is starting to head down the path of cultural and racial chaos. I guess Hitler's prophecies were right after all. Europe can't duplicate the multicultural integration success of America. America started off as an immigrant country, that is our advantage.

Well bro, I thinks it wasn't really Hitler being a prophet, but knowing a little history. Multiculturalism was one the main reasons the Roman Empire fell, but I understand where you are coming from.

Yeah whenever u have a group of people, the aboriginals, and people from all different types come over - and they dont want to assimilate (and worse one group becomes the majority) - the aboriginal population gets pretty ticked.

Case in point: California taken over by mexico and how bankrupt and horrible this state has become. :)

Case in point2: Ask any native american how great multi-culturalism and immigration is. lol.

I think you said the magic word "assimilate," they do not make people do that anymore, they accommodate. That is where the rift comes in. Too many languages, I'm all for nationalism. My grandparents had to assimilate, and they did just fine over here.

Man, I was stationed out in Cali, I love that place, the weather, the women, everything.... that's a shame it came to that. California is/was one beutiful place. I been there three times since 93. You really don't pick upon that stuff when you visit. Surf city....

While I realize the flaws of totalitarian states, on the other hand it's safe to say we're slowly becoming a spineless nation, and it's depressing. We let the thugs and uneducated criminals undermine our authority now, encroach on our good neighborhoods and cities, etc. while lawyers and politicians get paid off to help lay the groundwork for it all. While we've made progress in certain areas, we really are digressing as a society when it comes to core values and what makes a country function soundly. We have to realize soon that there is no way to please everybody, which is what a lot of this mess stems from.

I will say that it's extremely noble and commendable to go to such great lengths to make life better for people from all walks of life. The problem is, we are an anomaly, and there's a good reason for that. People are meant to be different, and we're trying to make them all the same, ie the melting pot. Assimilation is great but there is a limit to everything, and we only have so much capacity.

We can't fit the whole world here in the good 'ol USA. We can have plans to liberate the entire planet into democracy but still don't even have a universal system of measurement, currency, language, values, etc in place. Then we have the ongoing issues of resource depletion, pollution, keeping everyone fed, etc. Does the average American even care about stuff like this? We have the immense task of simply getting them all to that point before anything improves. Good luck with the way our public school system is going. But before that is the dismantling of the family unit, which has given rise to a generation of delinquent, entitlement-minded kids who know how to work the system better than they can read or write. Raising a kid is getting to be like having to guide them through a minefield of dysfunction. Parents have the toughest job ever these days, and it's a damn shame the odds are so stacked against them.

There really is no happy medium, but the pendulum has swung too far the other way, and pretty soon all good people will be suffering as a result if nothing changes.
