6/13 NHL Van at Boston 8pm

Being at home and in front of their rabid fans makes a difference for B's.

Canucks!
last change is it more than anything. chara and seidenberg play a shit ton of minutes, and at home they at least get a breather here and there when vancouvers 3rd and 4th lines get out.

lol omg i forgot to put bet in. going to bet on van

so glad i forgot

yo cali. long time. damn another game like this eh. good thing game 7 is in vav... also glad i bet 5 mill on boston thanks to a hot tip from nhl 11

thank you for the karms ea sports!! anyone else amazed by how nhl11 predicted the winner of each of the first 6 games. and also picked van over boston before the season started, and again in game 7 once the finals were confirmed with the home team winning every single game

I've had a crazy few weeks and haven't been on too much lately!! Still betting though....lol

home ice is a huge advantage for both teams but if van doesn't win tomorrow ppl are going to be hellla upset as u see van's fans are rowdy on the streets of downtown

WOW boston won .. deserved it congrats. but the riot was so f*in stupid cars on fire, ppl getting beaten ..

actually no they won't be.. it was all cuz of tim thomas that they won, well n a few other players but mostly cuz of him cuz hes a brick wall.
and i dont think hes gonna be playing for to long but congrats to the bruins!

LOL What? You have no idea what you are talking about.

Marchand, Seguin, and McQuaid were all rookies this year. Bergeron is 25, Krejci is 25, Horton is 26, Lucic is 23..I can keep going. The team is incredibly young and only going to get better. Chara is 34, but in phenomenal shape.

Thomas is 37, but broke into the league late. Look at Roloson this year, or even Brodeur. Goalies can play into their 40's easily. And even if something does happen to Timmy, the B's have Rask to back him up. He's easily the best back up in the league and would start on most NHL teams.

i wouldnt say easily the best backup in the lg. thats a bit much. i think philly proved that alone last year. but as long as they dont run into cap problems they should be competitive for awhile. the new nbc deal should bring up cap by mil. and they were projecting it was gonna go up another mill without that anyways. lets hope

who's a better back up? philly used all 3 goaltenders they had this postseason against buffalo and boston and they all sucked.

rask would start on most teams. he's only 24 and the goalie of the future for boston. if you remember last year rask played great in the playoffs and made one of the best saves of the year.

true i dont know much about boston lol, but yah they do have some crazy players like marchand and beregon and lucic is pretty good too
thomas was mvp.. they only won cuz he saved some crazy ass shots
canucks are pretty good too.. just luongo kinda inconsistent, he fucked up bad on the 3rd goal

no doubt that thomas was a huge reason why boston won. that said, chara and seidenberg shut down the sedins all series.

yeah well philly starter is worse than most backups. im not saying he isnt a good goalie by any means. and actually i didnt realize he was that young so he does have some development to go still. there are alot of good backups these days tho. its not like the old days where there were only brodeur roy and hasek who were the only good goaltenders in the league

okay, you are the one who said rask wasn't the best back up goalie in the league. give me someone who's better? if he's not, he's not, but lets use names here.

rask was a game away from taking the bruins to the conf finals last year. i assume you're talking about boucher? he's a career backup who couldn't even sniff a starting job this year. you don't think philly would have traded his old ass for anything if they could have gotten it? bobrosky is young and their future. leighton is pure garbage.

i'm not trying to be a dick here..but you have refuted my claims and offered nothing. you haven't even mentioned a goalie by name..just "flyers goalie."

part about flyers goaltenders sucking is deff true.. lol flyers were stacked and got crushed by boston cause of this problem

i would take schneider over rask. hopefully he gets traded out of van. i would also take brent johnson, and would say he is one of, if not the top backup in the league and his stats back should back that up. i know he was near top 5 for gaa and save% most of the year, and probably does have the best stats of any backup. ty conklin was great until he got sent to a shitty team. and the team you play on does make a differnce. timmy thomas wouldnt be putting up his numbers if he were in edmonton. ive always liked hedburg, but for some reason he seems to struggle as a starter since he left pittsburgh way back. matheiu garon is pretty good. biron id be happy with as a backup. and for youngsters right now id take a good look at holtby and enroth. if washington maintains there defensive program their gaa will improve greatly. an 11 and 14 record by tuuka rask is not that impressive. especially since he does have one of the best teams in the league playing in front of him every night.

those are damn good numbers indeed. i just checked him out for last year cuz i dont pay too much attention to boston. seems like he had a bad year then. its really hard to tell tho dude. alot of ppl start great and drop off the face of the earth. some suprises like timmy make the league in there 30's and set records. only time will tell. but at least the thing is. you like rask, and i like johnson. so we are both happy. congratz tho on the cup bro. and best of luck next year. the only thing i think we can agree on is that someone black and gold hosts the cup again. lol
