ya man, all creatine as far as I have ever read or seen, does exactly the same thing. Some of these other newer esterfied and PH balanced creatine may get absorbed better or take fewer grams to get the job done. But its all the same end result
I use a couple of different monos right now (depending on what I have on hand). I wouldn't stress too much about which one is the "right" one -- the truth is that your right one might be different from mine or you may not respond to creatine at all (although from the sound of your diet you will love it).
Like everyone else said, optimize your nutrition, train hard and get your creatine in with some carb within 15 minutes of your workout. You will get plenty of advice here, some phenomenal, some iffy... Gotta tailor it to your body and your goals.
