Opinion on this cycle for an older (!) man. I have seen plenty written about cycle theory on younger guys (mostly negative) but precious little about cycles in older guys. I have also noticed a change in cycle theory from about 10 years ago. At that time it was ramp up, peak, ramp down, and then PCT. Now it seems you just START and STOP.
Age: 47
Weight: 250 (ideal weight is 235-240, all excess weight in gut)
Height: 6’ 4” (very ecto naturally)
Diet: Good. I stick to lower carb in general, 3000 cal/day or so
This will be my second cycle but the first one was about 14 years ago and consisted of a simple 4 week Dbol (up to 25mg/day) with Clomid PCT. No problems.
I have been training consistently for about 25 years with little break other then the occasional week off or travel related stoppage. I have been quite a dedicated lifter for a long time. Still pretty strong for an old guy, still able to get about 315/8 on fb, 405/6 squat, etc.
My objective is to push boundaries. I have been using some 3,6,17 Androstenetrione with pleasing effects but feel it is not enough. I will not inject for several reasons. It is just not happening. I read A LOT before I do anything. Based on recent theory and LOTS of reading, here is the Dbol cycle I have planned. I know it is not aggressive by most standards but I am simply looking for a boost. Also, the impact on an older man is unclear to me.
Week 1: 15mg/day
Week 2: 20 mg/day
Week 3: 25 mg/day
Week 4: 25 mg/day
Week 5: 15 mg/day
Week 6: 40 mg Nov/day
Week 7: 20 mg Nov/day
Week 8: 20 mg Nov/day
Any constructive comments or suggestions appreciated.
