I had it happen once, was it just straight oil or was it bloody, i wouldn't stress it if it had red to it. It was probably more blood than anything.
Try using the z-method, works alot better. Pull the skin to the side while injecting after you pull out you let the skin go and the skin and muscle wont be in the same path as when you injected, that way the gear cant follow the hole out
