Family is 2K miles away and I'm not in their lives anyway. I'd just be the one that died first. My kid's too young to remember me and I'm sure I'd be quickly replaced a number of times. Anyone else in my life it'd be like "oh that sucks" and I never happened.

IDK..my parents would be devestated and so would my sister. It could possibly disrupt my Dad's life in a major way...where he might leave the country or something and become a missionary or something lol...idk..I could see it. It would be a huge disruption in their lives. 
There would probably be quite a bit of people at the visitation...hundreds and hundreds I bet...I could see Ammie taking it the worst out of everyone..and my parents..my Mom....I can see the circles under her eyes already...

lol..part of me does not want people to be upset when I die...I really don't, I care about them......but...another part of me (if I was standing there) would be like WTF at the idea of a huge party at my passing. Since I'm single and don't have any dependents, I don't think many people would really give a shit. My immediate family would obviously care. Since I just moved here and I only have like three friends I doubt there would be anybody here that gave a shit. My friends back home would be shocked.
I don't really know how people would remember me. I get told I have a brilliant mind all the time, so I guess they would remember my intelligence. Some of my closest friends would remember me as a "flirt slut", apparently I'm a womanizer without knowing that I am. Of course, I'd be remembered by the ladies as a hawt guy with a huge cawk.
I think the only people on EF that would miss me would be Cindz, Shirlz, jngr, nigbus, dave, and maybe SB if he hasn't already gotten Alzheimer's by then.

I have a large family and also a large amount of friends and past employers so I am guessing it would be a pretty big deal. People would remember me as someone who was trustworthy and for my business sense and partying/travel/networking and here at EF for Adderllin and my abs and chat. But who cares? You will be dead and it doesn't matter. Thinking this way is more of an exercise of what you are currently doing with your life and what peoples current perceptions of you are. What you wanna change and how you got to where you are today. It makes you evaluate relationships in your life as well.
When you are dead you are dead and many people keep up this delusion that they will be alive in some way. You will not be so make the best of your life right now and get the dreamland fantasies out of your brain.
People just don't understand the concept of death or do not want to. I am an organ donor and when I ask people why they are not I have heard some really ridiculous answers. Why would you want to keep your organs in your carcass when they can save someone else's life? If you are dead you do not exist, possessing something is impossible. Instead you are donating it to hungry worms. We write our own obituaries everday.

Shoot, most people don't even become worm food. If they get a casket burial they're probably going to be embalmed (especially if there's a viewing) and then the casket is placed in a concrete liner underground.
Otherwise they're cremated.
God bless you, and anyone who signs their organ donor card. Somebody who signed their card saved my husband's life, and I will always be grateful for that selfless gift.
Sadly, I think, it is due to a lack of awareness that people don't sign them, not really due to having a reason against it.
I think if there was more awareness about organ donation- that it is important to talk to your loved ones about what your final wishes are, then more people would make that decision.

I like the idea that I continue to live after I die and helping someone else continue to live Even if it's just for a short while.
Of course. My biggest beef with the system is that green burial is so difficult. There's very few green cemeteries in the entire nation.
Before you ask, EVERYONE in my family (me, hubs, kids) are donors, have been for years. Hubby's father was a kidney recipient.

I'd want a recording on a timer inside the casket that would come on sometime during the event when everyone was gathered around. The recording would be something like knocking, then pounding and screaming something like, "let me out! I'm alive! I'm alive!" I would need some pretty good speakers to get the realistic effect.
Some other funny shit too. I'm sure I'll think of more before I die. Unless I have an untimely death at a relatively young age.

Im an organ donar as well. Dont know why some peeps i know are all parinoind and shit about being one. they'd get some pretty clean, heathy legit organs too if i died. Family and a few friends would miss me.
