What is the worst job you have ever had?

I worked at Chico's in high school. Only women over 45 shop there and they're all b*tches.

Our policy was to do what the customer asked immediately, without getting a manager. So if this 57 year old lady was swearing up and down she had a 20% off coupon mailed to her but she lost it, I had to give her the discount even if I was staring at her account in the computer knowing we mailed her no coupons.

Old women are bitchiest people on Earth. Never again will I work a job that requires speaking to such aged women.

The only awesome thing was since we could type in whatever discount we wanted and blame it on the customer, we could get away with practically giving shit away.

Ya, it takes getting used to. If really don't give a shit than it is easier to deal with them.

I didnt give a shit, but its rough getting yelled @ by confused old women who swear theyre right when i have proof theyre wrong. I dealt with it by quitting. Lol I worked there just long enough to pay off speeding tickets and college application fees, then I peaced out ASAP.

Of Mozilo, perhaps?

Never got to that level. I did have a friend that was a branch manager in Park City that was forced into signing off on a loan (as a branch manager we had a certain amount of lattitude to sign off on conditions UW gave us if we felt it was something needed to help with relationships with builders, etc). It usually meant signing off on bad loans. So this guy got a call not from Mozillo, but from someone directly on his behalf telling him to make a shit stated loan on a $3M house go through using his authority. He did, loan went bad, he was fired, and also fined by the UT zdivision of real estate. He wasn't allowed to do loans here anymore.

Helluva company.

I've had some uncool jobs but nothing I really hate, except bartending, hated those drunken aholes that thought they were God's gift to women and wouldnt take no for an answer, had to get a fake engagement and wedding ring so some would back off....

When I was a young teen I was with this girl.
We were both drunk and she threw up all over me.

You meant that type of job, right?

lol agreed. I handed out discounts like it was my job. Anybody's mom or aunt or something would come in and I'd toss 20-40% off their way for no reason, and when my manager would ask I'd just get all "The lady kept telling me she had a coupon at one point and wouldn't let it go so I gave it to her" and my manager would just say "oh ok, good job, just don't forget to write that down later"

I worked one summer for a friend of the family doing a cable installation job in telecommunications. Pay was good, but the days were long, people were assholes, saw a lot of crazy ass shit, could get fired without proof of theft, only need someone to claim you did, and I always worked on sat. Never again, I said.
