Miso-Glazed Salmon

Not the most low fat recipe, but hey, its packed with polyunsaturated fatty acids....enjoy!

Miso-Glazed Salmon

3 tablespoons white Miso paste*
2 tablespoons rice cooking wine*
1 tablespoon sugar
4 salmon fillets (about 4 ounces each)

In a small bowl, stir together first three ingredients until smooth; brush over salmon fillets. Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight. Heat oven to 400 F. Place salmon skin side down on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Roast 10 to 12 minutes, or until fish flakes easily.
Makes 4 servings.

* Available in Asian markets and gourmet groceries. Miso paste is used to make Miso soup, a salty Asian soup you may get, for instance, in a Sushi bar.
 
You are so bad.......;)

Miso is a really good soup. Its salty, with seaweed and tofu in it.
(good for hangover too...)

The paste is mixed with boiling water to make the soup.

I've had it in almost every sushi place I been to.

Oh well, something different.......
