I heard Robert downey jr. met him in a casino high and drunk and was the one who talked him into rehab.

Serves him right. He did that cheesy anti-steroid TV movie.
Of course being an alcoholic is still more acceptable than being a juicer.

Well Rotten is right there
Anyone I have known to go thru the rehab revolving doors and either succeed or not will be the first to tell you that any therapy, intervention, jail will not work unless the person wants it.
Problem with rehabs and the whole recovery movement is it has become a business today.
I know some old dudes who were friends of the family who were like in AA for years that can tell you that has changed for the worse,
They still go obviously because they feel they need it and don't have a choice.
Does anyone actually believe Downey Jr will ever actually quit.
I see him becoming either dead, in jail big time , or becoming the keith richards of the acting circuit.
That being said if he wants to kill himself with drugs and booze and isn't hurting anyone unlawfully let him.
He doesn't seem to want or can't stop anyways/
Sorry if I offend anyone trying to straighten out thier lives, if you are kudos to you, but I just feel that it is up to you and when you do it I am there for you. But if you dont wanna clean up that is the persons own prblem, I don't coddle ppl anymore.
