There's not a whole lot you can do if you inject into a vein......it won't kill you so there's really nothing to worry about but you do want to try and prevent it......

Whenever I hit a vein (has only been a few times) blood rolls out immediately after I take out the pin....it's quite obvious.

This does not mean you have injected into a vein, you may have just passed through a vein, so don't freak out if this happens.
