Just make sure you are allowed to use the facility even when you are not taking a class... That will really make a difference when you get more advanced and you want to go there on your own and hit the heavy bag. Once you are there for a while, you can agree to meet a couple of other guys there, during an off time you can go in and sparr or do some pad work with a buddy.

Here's what their site says: "Any Membership Payment Plan entitles you to full-use of the gym at anytime during normal business hours"

That's definitely a plus. Although I won't be using the free weights there for at least 6 months (due to other gym contract), like you said, I can do bag and pad work whenever.
