what kind of grip do you use on your deadlift? i use an alternating grip.
i use the same but feel I need the hooks for pullups, rows also. even curling my upper arms get pumped too quick and I have to rest early

I recently purchased some hooks, I like them for deadlifts.

It lets you concentrate on working your back rather than worrying about your grip.

I use the overhand grip, and never liked the mixed grip.

The hooks help especially when your finishing up a heavy set and the bar feels like it's rolling out of your hand.

p.s. spend the extra money and get the better ones, the cheap ones WILL bend and rip away from the strap.
