Zyrtec

I going to start taking Zyrtec for allergies.( 1 pill every night) Does anyone else take zyrtec or something like it? If so what are the sides and do they effect your training?

Zyrtec is gdod stuff for allergies. It shouldn't affect your training at all. If it were me, I would only take it when you thought allergies were coming on, and not every night. That way you save them longer, don't build up a tolerance as fast, and sometimes one pill clears me up for a week or two. I don't have allergies anymore from sinus flushes and liver cleanse's, but if I did, I would take zyrtec or allegra.

I never had any luck with it. Are you seeing one of the allergist that poke all the allergens in you at one time and then tell you to take thier shots for the rest of your life?? If so go see an allergist that does the sublingual therapy. I had much better results using thier antigens

It really depends. Zyrtec is an antihistamine. Basically instead of desensitizing you to the allergens , the chemical attempts to block h1 and h2 receptor with the antihistamine.

Basically it doesn't solve the problem but it attempts to "block" the problem.
Been using my doctors antigens and these much cheaper over the counter antigens

I use a nasal steroid (nasonex) & some natural remedies (plant sterols & sterolins, & local wild flower bee honey). Just don't like that feeling those antihistimines give you
