cnn still pushing the "stand your ground law" even though it was used in the case...

hilarious.. only thing that would have been funnier is if the "young black teenager" had ben biracial.. then he'd be like obama..
 
Glad that everyone is alright, and very glad that they didnt run out of the car screaming. Zimmy probably would have shot them in fear of his life.

Eh, the constitution is pretty much a joke anyways. It was written by lazy, slave owners who couldn't pay their taxes.
 
Under FL Stand Your Ground law the SUV had a right to stay overturned....arrest that fat ass.

No opinion/no comment on the Zimmerman rescue, but I helped rip the door off a burning Ventura County Sheriff's car in 2010, to let the deputy out, and a week later I got a ticket from the same agency for tinted windows. The crash I witnessed with the trapped deputy was in the paper and everything, but not my picture. I mindf*ed the deputy who gave me the ticket, by not telling him who I was, 'til after I had signed the ticket. I think that made it worth the hassle of the tinted window ticket, to see him squirm after he couldn't undo the ticket... Sure I'd do it again (help anybody out of a car on fire), but that was chickensh*t of them to pull my wife and me over for tinted windows on a Sunday morning with no other reasons to pull us over.

Why is everyone talking like Zimmerman was a lone hero here? The article says he did not witness the accident, and came along and joined in with other people who were already helping.

Honestly I was a little worried when we got the door off, because I had to reach in and get the seatbelt out of his holster and flashlight, and he was a little goofy because of the crash. I was worried he'd think I was going for his gun. The other guy helping get the door off, was Mexican, and around here, Mexicans seem to be the ones picked on most by the law. On a serious note, I've watched a person burn alive in a car, and take his or her last breath. The flames were so bright that I couldn't tell if they were a man or woman. Way too hot to even get within 100 feet, and the car was wedged under an oil tanker truck. Really a bad scene. Not something I ever want to see again! (not related to the cop crash)
