I'm not even that big, and my family and some of my friends give me constant shit about my size. They keep saying I'm trying to become Tony Little (of all people!) and say how I'm getting fat, or too big, or too bulky - or too anything. No one appreciates that I'm working out everyday between lifting, cardio, and other outdoor hobbies. It's always, why are you getting so big? I'm seriously starting to get really tired of it, and even have told people not to say anything until they start working out as much as I am. It always starts back up again.
I'm 5'5 172 13% - and people still tell me I'm fat. Especially relatives (granted I come from an asian family where the average male is like 150lbs). I mean, seriously. As a result, I've cut my next cycle down a little, and have resorted to wearing baggy shirts around people to make it not as apparent (ah...until summer - then it's all over) . It's just really starting to get to me - and starting to effect my attitude in the gym.
Ahhh. I just had to vent a little. It's really frustrating. I mean, the only people I get compliments on for my lifts are mainly from people I don't know, or the regulars at the gym. Everyone else, people that really mean something to me, tell me I'm fat.
