Your opinion on women that let themselves be beaten for several years

My thoughts are that women that are in these situations for years have a VERY low self esteem, most likely a family built with the abuser, and would not want to put their kids through a divorce... so, they shut their minds down, slowly, over the years of abuse... they just become 'zombielike.'

It's poor selection in boyfriend or husband by the woman in the first place, but then isn't that what alot of women look for, drama in their lives. Why are there so many decent guys out there who can't find a girl, yet there are plenty of dickheads around that have no problem.

You can't seriously tell me that a woman who is beaten by her man couldn't see some major character floors in the guy in the first place?

It all comes down to poor character judgement in the first place.

I had to chime in here. How can the USA condem and order Israel to stop when we are doing the exact same thing in Afghanistan?

Simplicity itself. People stick with what they know.
