I have managed to get a really nice thickness to everything except my tris. i don't know why i build muscle so easy everywhere except my tri's but its pissing me off cause i think it just looks funny. what would you suggest to get some extreme thickness to my tris??

Do you do those exercises?

actually no. i do behind the head bar tri presses, cable tri press, and OMG girlie kickbacks :) . i guess my tri program is fuqed which would explain why i am lacking in that area. forgive my ignorance but can someone explain Skullcrushers, Tate press, JM press, board presses, and rack lockouts.

The V-bar cable tricep press down is supposed to give good size - proper form of course. The rope wont substitute, its a finishing exercise.

Lay on your back on a flat bench, hold a barbell straight up and above you at arms length, hands spaced (approximately) 12 inches apart. Then bending at the elbows, bring the bar down to the area around the middle of your forehead (hence skullcrushers). Some may bring the bar a lil higher on the forehead (to the hairline) or a lil lower (where the nose meets the forehead) its more a personal preference than a right or wrong. Same goes with the hand spacing. Some like it a little wider, some a little closer. 12 inches is just a starting reference point and may require some experimenting and adjustment on your part.

Whatever you do..... don`t cheat and bounce the bar off your head !!! :smash:

That's the ticket. However I wouldn't do CGB and weighted dips on the same day. Go balls out on one or the other, then throw in one or two isolation excercises. That's all you need.

I agree. On tricep day I do close grip and skull crushers, and french curls. On chest day I do chest, and weighed dips.

It's working for me! ;)

Gotta love the compound movements. :)
