My partner wants me to compete in an all natural
contest. I have checked it out and they will Lie-
Detector test all contestants.
Is it a waste of my time or are there some reliable
methods to say, beat the test.

My second question is how many guys actually "use"that compete in these natural events, some of these guys look damn good.

there are ways to beat the test. they ask you a simple quesiton at first that you tell the truth for. when they ask you that think of very upseting thoughts like family members dying, your penis being cut off, etc. then when they ask you the question about being natural it should come out as you telling the truth. i forgot where i heard this works so if it dosnt work dont kick my ass.

Check out http://www.polygraph.com . I used his booklet and pass polygraphs with no problems. The polygraph is a joke. The polygraph is just a prop so people confess to stuff they normally wouldn't. The "Magic 8 ball" gives better results.
