your gyms biggest dumbells

What are your gyms biggest dumbells and what are the heaviest dumbells you've trained with(not counting shrugs). My gym has 145#'s and my proudest lift is, 135# incline dumbell press for 8 with super strict form.

My new gym has 150's and I just looked at them while I was doing my concentration curls with my cute little 45 pounder. Biggest I've ever used, probably a set of 110's for squats.

120s

97s for 7 dumbell press (One set of weights weighs 2IBs more than normal great for staggering increments)

One dusty black pair of neglected 200's, that sit alone at the end of the rack near the fountain under the mirror.. never used, they are my white unicorn, although I can't press with them yet, soon they will be mine, oh yes they will be mine.

We have 190 pounders at the Golds gym I go to. Rarely are they used. The heaviest dumbell i'll use is the 150 pounder for shrugs. Although I saw a guy incline benching the 170 pounders in strict form, i've only seen people use the 190's for dumbell rows or shrugs.

110's. I'm havin a great time figuring ways to add weight... For dumbbell rows right now I'm tying an extra 25 on, but I keep smashing my fingers on the way down. lol. We only got like 3-4 guys who even USE the damn things (college gym), so my request that they get bigger dumbbells was politely laughed at.

Not Big Enough!

120's but our gym needs at least 150's... Oh well, nothing that a little duct tape and a few 10 lb. plates won't fix! You know, you do what you gotta do...

I think I've seen 180's in mine... there are like 2 guys who ever use them.

I saw a 170 lb. guy using a 120 lb. db for ab crunches... yeah right buddy... same guy was 1/4-squatting about 4 plates a side... I suppose he thought he had built himself up to these weights, but it was all in his mind as he wasn't lifting shit!

I train at home and have super dooper long dumbells that can fit 45lb plates on them......probably like 270lbs maybe even more........i havent tried that many plates yet......one day

55's at the moment.

I visited a friend in California who took me to a rather elite gym. I saw a guy do incline DBs presses with 225s. Yes, thats 225lbs in each hand. Didn't get to see the heaviest they had there...
